As you may already know, in 2007 Sibiu was the European Capital of Culture and on this occasion, many new festivals and events have been launched while the old ones have been better promoted. | The Medieval Festival “Transylvanian Fortresses” | |

During the 3 days-festival the town of Sibiu transforms itself into the medieval fortress it used to be. Princes and princesses, artisans and craftsmen, brave knights and fighters “invade” the narrow streets of the fortress. For a few days Sibiu goes back in time, it becomes again the famous Hermannstadt citadel. |
